Discovered Barn Door

Discovered Barn Door

May 25, 2015 in Objects, Close ups

I have been dying to photograph a particular disused barn that I have driven by on numerous occasions.  I finally got the chance.  I invited a friend along and off we went.   The hardest part of fine art photography  for me is deciding what to title something.  My creativity clearly does not lie in that area.  I pondered what to call this.  Should I go for 'hidden'?  Or perhaps 'Lost'?  'Secret' would also have worked.  In the end I went with 'discovered'.  Not only is that exactly what happened, but  I also liked the optimism of discovery.  The sense of movement, of action, the opposite of passivity.  So 'discovered' won the day.
