One of the things I miss about England is that it is an island. A smallish island, albeit packed with 53 million people! And being a smallish island means that you are always within a few hours of being by the sea, no matter where you are. Now I admit, I didn't live near the seaside but that's not the point. I knew it was there and if I was so inclined, I could jump into a car early in the morning and by noon, be getting my feet wet in salty water.
This is West Wittering, on the South Coast, taken a few weeks back on a trip to visit family.
