I know I know. The Eiffel Tower. It's hardly an original idea to take a photograph of Paris's landmark tourist attraction. But just because something has been done before or has become commonplace, does it automatically disqualify it from evoking wonder? I don't believe so. So yes, the camera came out and I clicked away a fair few times!
It's a cliché I know, but every year seems to go faster. And yet, as we experience a March snow storm here in Edmonton Alberta, the winter drags on interminably. So is the mystery of time. One thing I know, there is nothing to be done about it, so might as well take a photograph or two along the way!
Sometims I like to think that I could live by myself in a little wooden hut in the middle of nowhere. I would grow my own food by day and cosy up next to a wood burning fire by night with only a good book for company and a mug of hot chocolate made on a single burner of a camping stove. Then I wake up and realise I am at heart, a city girl and I am way too much of an extrovert to be alone for too long!
